DESCRIPTION:An unforgettable community meal featuring local products\, local history and classy entertainment in a one-of-a-kind historic landmark.\nSaturday\, October 26\, 2024\n6pm-8pm\nCelebrate the Fall season in the company of friends\, family and neighbors. Join us for this special Harvest Dinner at This Old Church\, and be part of the tradition that started more than a century ago. \nGreat Food and Entertainment! \nWe’ll again serve a fabulous menu of seasonal dishes highlighting local purveyors\, plus a decadent variety of locally sourced desserts. Plus\, live entertainment will be provided by the Hamilton College Jazz Combo! \nBenefiting 2 Good Causes: \n\nRestoration of a set of our historic 1885 stained glass windows\nVVS area Food Pantries\n\nGift Bags! Each guest will receive a gift bag including a limited edition commemorative item and other local goodies. \nRaffle! We’ll raffle off several gift baskets. Everyone will get a ticket as you enter\, and can purchase more. If interested in donating a gift basket\, let us know! \nArrival and Parking Details. Guests should arrive between 5:15 and 6:00 pm. Seating will occur promptly at 6:00 and the event\, including entertainment\, will end promptly at 8:00pm. Parking details below. \nWeather permitting\, guests will be chauffeured from the parking lot across the circle to the front door via horse and carriage! \nSuggested Attire is Fall Fancy\, or Fall semi-formal. We’ll leave it to you to best interpret what that means\, but dressier than normal. Add your own seasonal colors\, scarves\, hats\, and more! Awards will be given for the best representations of “Fall Fancy”. \nADVANCE TICKETS REQUIRED. Seating is limited to 120 guests. All registered guests must pay in advance online or by check\, which must be received by October 23 at PO Box 214\, Vernon Center\, NY 13477\, or by special arrangement. \n~ $75 per person\, or 2 for $125 ~ \nCost should not keep anyone from attending who would like to be there. Please email us if we can be helpful in any way in this respect. The goal is to bring the community together for a great meal. \nIf you’d like to donate a gift basket to be raffled off\, please let us know! That’d be much appreciated.
